Machine Party Achievements: All 15 and How Hard Each One Is

Updated for v2.0Last verified: August 13, 2026 (UTC)

Quick Answer

Machine Party has 15 Steam achievements and no DLC achievements. Every one requires a 2–4 player match — there is no solo mode, so there's no way to grind achievements alone.

The 15 achievements split roughly into two groups by difficulty:

Unlock rates come from Steam's global achievement statistics and shift over time; this page groups achievements by tier rather than quoting a snapshot percentage.

Achievement names use the spelling from the official Steam achievements page — so it's Spinebreaker as one word, and the Filter with a lowercase the. The simulation column follows the same spelling rules.

Two simulations don't have official names. The minefield and Smoke Break simulations are only described in their achievement text (the achievement says "without using the sonar" and "Smoke a total of 20 cigarettes" without naming the round). "Minefield" and "Smoke Break" are community and media labels — used here for clarity, but they are not Valve-blessed names.

Two Cumulative Achievements Explain the Bottom of the List

The last two rows on the table — Will it blend! and Full Pack — sit well below the next-rarest achievement above them. That's not because they're mechanically hard:

The actual bottleneck is replay volume:

If you're chasing them, Arcade mode is faster than Original. Pick your group carefully too — aggressive teammates make Lethal Rebound progress faster, and a steady rhythm helps in Smoke Break.

How the Difficulty Hierarchy Actually Works

Looking at the unlock rates, three rough tiers emerge:

Tier 1 — Most players get these (40%+ unlock). Quick draw!, BOOM HEADSHOT!, This is my hole., Dodge this!, Catch this!. These all unlock as a natural side effect of playing Original mode through once. You'll likely bump into most of them without trying.

Tier 2 — Skill checks (7–30% unlock). Just another day at the job., Mind the gap., Stairmaster, About those TPS reports., Flourished Memories, Gluttony. These require a clean or long run in a specific simulation. Most of them are doable in one focused session.

Tier 3 — Cumulative grind (under 5% unlock). Leg it! (no-sonar minefield), Mine. All mine!, Will it blend!, Full Pack. Three are skill-once and the two cumulative ones are replay-volume grinds. None of them are mechanically obscure, but each requires either a specific tactic or several hours of the right kind of match.

Why the Tier Distribution Looks Like This

A few things push the bottom tiers down compared to a typical Steam achievement list:

In other words: the tier spread tracks effort and group availability more than it tracks mechanical skill.

Notes on the Tiers

Tier assignments are based on Steam's global achievement statistics, not on developer statements. As the player base grows and the achievement registration mechanism has shifted across patches, the precise unlock percentages drift — but the relative ordering between easy skill checks, mid-tier skill checks, and cumulative grinds has stayed stable. This page groups achievements by tier rather than quoting a snapshot percentage so the content stays useful even as numbers move.

There is no official difficulty ranking. The tiers reflect effort and group availability, not mechanical complexity — they don't say "these are the hard ones."

Achievements don't change between modes. Original, Arcade and (since v2.0) couch co-op all count toward the same Steam list. The v2.0 update adjusted how six simulations play in split screen, but it didn't add or remove any achievements.

For what each simulation actually looks like in motion — rules, tips, the v2.0 differences — see our all minigames page. For a beginner-friendly path through Original mode, see the survival guide. And if you're trying to find a reliable group to grind the cumulative ones, the official Discord LFG channel is the developer's recommended route.

FAQ

How many achievements does Machine Party have?
Fifteen, all on the base game. There are no DLC achievements. Every achievement requires a 2–4 player online or couch co-op match — there is no solo mode.
Which achievement is the rarest?
Full Pack is the rarest — smoking 20 cigarettes cumulatively in the Smoke Break simulation. Will it blend! is close behind, a touch less rare.
Do I need a guide or walkthrough to unlock them?
No official guide exists. Most achievements are straightforward condition checks within a single simulation. The two rare ones are cumulative across multiple matches — they take replay volume, not mechanical skill.
Can I unlock achievements in couch co-op?
Yes. Every achievement that is unlockable in Original or Arcade mode online is unlockable in the same mode on the couch.
Will new achievements be added?
The developers have not announced new achievements as of August 12, 2026 (UTC). v2.0 was a couch co-op update, not a content update.
